Hamstring strain injury & Sprint Biomechanics
Hamstring injuries remain one of the most common time-loss injuries in sport. My research explores the biomechanical mechanisms underpinning hamstring strain, the demands of high-speed running, and the practical strategies for prevention and rehabilitation

Force Plates and physical profiling
Force plate testing provides objective measures of neuromuscular function and readiness. This work investigates how profiling can inform injury risk assessment, return-to-play decisions, and long-term athletic development.
Normative data and objective benchmarks for selected force plate tests for professional and youth soccer players in the English Football League.

Running Biomechanics & Injuries
Running mechanics play a critical role in performance and injury risk. My studies have examined movement patterns, load distribution, and their relationship to common running injuries, with applications for both elite and recreational athletes.
